What we do
The mission of the Independence Center is to enhance the quality of life, to promote independent functioning, and to facilitate personal growth for adults with a history of mental illness. To achieve this, the Independence Center provides ongoing social, educational, vocational and housing opportunities.
In an average year, approximately 350 members participate in the program. On average, the Center has 65 members in attendance each day.
