and we ask that you share your cheer with our Members!

The Independence Center serves more than 300 adult Members each year with comprehensive programming designed to help enhance quality of life, promote independent functioning, and facilitate personal growth. Our members come to us seeking only the resources to help themselves get back to long-term independence. Most of our Members would be social isolated without our program, and the sense of community you help us provide is especially important during this time of year.

IN ORDER TO SHARE THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT THAT OUR COMMUNITY CHARISHES SO DEARLY,
PLEASE SEND A HOLIDAY GREETING CARD FOR ONE OF OUR MEMBERS.

Season's Greetings can be sent to: 2025 WASHINGTON ST, WAUKEGAN, IL 60085.

During the season where family, friends, celebration and camaraderie are most prevalent, it can be difficult for those who may not have such blessings. Our members are inflicted with various forms of persistent and severe mental illness. For many of them, having struggled to maintain with such inflictions, this also means their ailments have led to additional hardships, including homelessness, substance abuse, family loss, job loss and more. They are not only grateful to the housing assistance, vocational training, medical support and life skills we provide, but also are inspired to continue striving towards their own independence so that they might finally attain a sense of consistent normalcy.

Help us continue to help others seeking to help themselves!

MAKE A MONETARY DONATION AND GIVE THE GIFT OF INDEPENDENCE.

Enable us to continue to provide quality service to our existing Members, and extend our hand to the thousands of community members still seeking aid.

Strengthen your community, share in the spirit, and change lives!

From our family to yours – thank you and Happy Holidays.
